      <title>Never Work a Day in Your Life?!</title>

           Can we please stop saying this....
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

            Can we please a top saying, “If YoU lOvE wHaT yOu Do, YoU’ll NeVeR wOrK a DaY iN yOuR LiFe”??
            &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            I see/hear this phrase all the time.
            &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            And every time, I cringe a little (a lot).
            &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            Because it’s just not true.
            &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            Even the best jobs, the most rewarding careers, and the most meaningful callings… they’re still work.
            &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            I love what I do here through LeadWell.
             &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            I help leaders and teams get healthy, build trust, and perform at their best. It’s deeply fulfilling.
             &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            But it’s also demanding. There are long days, tough conversations, dumb admin work, and moments that stretch me beyond comfort.
            &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            I also LOVE being a dad. So so much.
             &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            But dude… parenting is hard work.
             &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            Beautiful, sacred, exhausting work.
             &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            The love doesn’t erase the effort, it gives the effort purpose.
            &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            I use a
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/giant-worldwide/" target="_blank"&gt;&#xD;
      
           GiANT Worldwide
          &#xD;
    &lt;/a&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            tool regularly, it’s called the 70:30 Principle.
            &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            The idea is simple: when roughly 70% of what you do is energizing, natural, and strength-aligned, you’re in a healthy place.
            &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            The other 30%?
            &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            That’s the grind.
             &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            The admin.
             &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            The conflict.
             &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            The uncomfortable growth.
            &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            Expecting a 100:0 ratio sets you up for frustration.
            &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            It’s not realistic, and it’s not sustainable.
             &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            Even in your dream job, you’ll have days that feel heavy. Work will still be work.
            &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            But if most of your time is spent in the 70 — doing what you’re wired for, what gives you life — then you can endure (and even grow from) the 30.
            &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            So maybe the goal isn’t to “never work a day in your life.”
            &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            Maybe it’s to find work worth doing, that makes the work worth it.
             &#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            Let’s start saying that instead &amp;#55357;&amp;#56399;&amp;#55357;&amp;#56399;
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
